Purpose
As a firm believer that purpose is fluid and mutable, I'm welcoming all possibilities available that guide me in the direction(s) I'm meant to follow.
Embracing the multitude of passion living within me, I'm sharing my art through different mediums, styles and avenues, with the intention of igniting the sparks of imagination within each heart I touch. I believe that every individual is innately creative, and it is up to us to explore, nourish, and unleash the boundless potential already within us.
In the face of discrimination and marginalization, creativity serves as a powerful tool for self-expression and resistance. By embracing and nurturing our imaginative spirits, we can come together, rewrite narratives, and reclaim agency over our stories. Join me on this healing journey of remembering and empowerment as we create the kinds of worlds we want to live in.
Goal
I am allowing fear to fuel me rather than keep me stuck; continuing to move outside of comfort zones, releasing what isn't truly mine and leaning into what is.
If there's one thing I've realized on this path, it's that you never know who you're inspiring. You never know who is feeling seen or heard through your shares. How one word or image may be able to awaken a necessary response in someone, or elicit a range of emotions. Just as I would not be the person I am continuously evolving into without the myriad of hands, eyes, hearts, and minds I've been and will be touched by; I aim to be a part of those positively impacting others.
My vision outside of the virtual world is to one day form a physical space for the abundance of creations and knowings to be shared and experienced by the community, for the community: an accessible and sustainable safe haven for those marginalized where opportunities and resources exist! A co-creation where authenticity and vulnerability are embodied!
